These Valentine card colouring pages are little gift for all of our furfriends near and far, with love from the blog dogs of Dalmatian DIY. Yes, we’ve made a special collection of free Dalmatian Valentine’s Day printables. Yay! Digital gifts and virtual hugs are about as close to sharing the love as we can get with distance and current restrictions, but we hope you feel it all the same.
Getting Creative and Having Fun
During a Facetime chat with my young niece on the other side of the world she showed me some of her colouring. I showed her a drawing of Humphrey, and then a little idea hatched. I was going to make her some colouring pages, and I decided to create something to share with all of you as well. These Dalmatian Valentine’s Day printable colouring pages are the first of a planned collection of new freebies.

Doggone Great Colouring Fun
As much as I love Dalmatians, black and white is a limited palette for a colouring project. In addition to handsome Humphrey, these colouring designs include lots of decorative elements and embellishments. You can get as creative and as colourful as you’d like when colouring your Dalmatian Valentines. The spots are also clear for colouring in so that the Dalmatian can be coloured with black, liver, lemon, or any colour of the rainbow that catches your fancy. Dalentine pink? Ravishing red? Anything goes.
Our Free Dalmatian Valentine’s Day Printable Formats
Our free Valentine’s Day colouring printables are available in several formats for easy use. When all four designs are printed on the same page (as pictured here), they’re finely detailed colouring projects. If you have a junior artist or prefer a bigger design, there are also options for paired pages (two designs per page) or full page designs. Download links for all of the formats are below.
Note: These freebies have been shared via Dropbox as PDF files (A4 page size, high resolution printable). You do not need to have a Dropbox membership/login to access, download, or print the file(s). The default paper size is A4 (our local standard) so remember to switch using “fit-to” or other resize setting of your preference if you’re printing on a different paper size, such as standard letter.
Sharing the Love (and the Freebies)
As with all of our printables and freebies, these Dalmatian Valentines are free for your personal / non-commercial use as a little present from us to you. It’s absolutely not required, but it would be awesome and greatly appreciated if you followed us on social media, if you’re not already following the fun. If you’re sharing photos on social media of your colouring fun with our printables, feel free to tag us.
Teachers, careers, other similar non-personal but not-for-profit users are welcome to use these special freebies with your classes and groups. If you’d like to share the digital files with colleagues or send them to parents for home use, please email/share the link to this blog post, not the file or direct download link. As a completely free access site, visitor traffic is what keeps us creating and sharing. We also welcome social media shares, but please link to this post, not the download direct. Thanks for your help! We really appreciate it!
More Doggone Great Colouring Fun
Making these colouring sheets was a fun project for me and hopefully they’ll be fun for you, too. I’ll try to add more designs for upcoming holidays, so stay tuned for more freebies coming soon. At the moment, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter printable colouring page plans are in the works. I can’t turn every request into a post or a freebie, but reader suggestions and ideas are always welcome if you’d like to get in touch.
Other Pawesome Printables
Check out our Pawesome Printables board on Pinterest for other fun freebies and printable pages. We also have a board with Fun and Easy Pet DIYs for Kids if you’re looking for other family-friendly creative projects to keep the kiddos happily occupied. I know it’s extra tricky for many of you at the moment, including my own family overseas, due to COVID restrictions.
I’d also like to give a special shout out to our friend the fabulously creative and talented Fenne from DogVision. She has a beautiful collection of hand drawn “corona colouring pages” that she created last year on her blog. I coloured both pages from the Watchdog and the Horder, because they reminded me of Humphrey. You can see my finished colourings on our Instagram. Of course, I took the liberty of adding a few Dali dots when colouring my dogs. How could I possibly resist? Thanks for the fun freebies, Fenne!
