Creative Dog-Themed Colouring Sheet Fun
As shared in our free Dalmatian Valentine’s Day colouring printable post, I’ve gotten back into digital drawing recently. In addition to other projects, I decided to make some colouring pages for family and friends, and I’m sharing them with all of you as well. I’ll try to add more designs for upcoming holidays, so stay tuned for more freebies coming soon! At the moment, Easter printable colouring page plans are already in the works. I can’t turn every request into a post or a freebie, but reader suggestions and ideas are always welcome if you’d like to get in touch.

Doggone Great Colouring Fun
As much as I love Dalmatians, black and white is a rather limited palette for a colouring project, especially for young colour-loving artists. Like our Valentines, in addition to handsome Humphrey, these colouring designs include lots of decorative elements and embellishments. That way, you can get as creative and as colourful as you’d like when colouring. I also left the spots for colouring in so that the Dali can be black, liver, lemon, or any colour of the rainbow that catches your fancy. St. Patrick’s Day (Puptrick’s Day) green? Why not!
Our Free St. Patrick’s Day Colouring Sheet Printable Format
This colouring page is a one of design. It’s available in a straight high-resolution A4 for quick standard printing and easy resizing to other paper types. Unlike the pictured photo, I added a little border to the files shared here for download. Colouring all the way to the edge of the paper is tricky for the best of us, and I didn’t want to make it any harder for those of you printing these for kids. Cleaning errant crayon, pencil, or marker from your tables and counters is never fun.
Note: This freebie has been shared via Dropbox as PDF files (A4 page size, high resolution printable). You do not need to have a Dropbox membership/login to access, download, or print the file(s). The default paper size is A4 (our local standard) so remember to switch using “fit-to” or other resize setting of your preference if you’re printing on a different paper size, such as standard letter.

Other St. Patrick's Day Fun for Pets and Pet Lovers
You can find other fun ideas in our St. Patrick’s Day dog posts in the holiday archives. A few oldies are still being rewritten for the the new blog layout, so if you’ve come here via an old pin or bookmarked link, sincere apologies. We also have a St. Patrick’s Day pet celebrations Pinterest board with ideas from here and all over the place.
As for our celebrations this year, they’ll no doubt be quiet. I think a few green gummies are in order. Dogs don’t see green like we do, but that needn’t stop us from having a little fun. Tinting gummies with something like spirulina or powdered wheatgrass or kale makes an easy peasy healthy green. Going for gold instead? Some stocks are naturally golden, but adding little bit of turmeric powder is my go-too for tinting gorgeous golden gummies. I’ve even tried making gummies with fresh turmeric. For a different twist, pureed fruits or veggies can be used to make gummy dog treats or to make easy frozen dog treats. Unsweetened applesauce or pureed cooked pumpkin are yummy options.
