Happy howlidays, furfriends! As a gift from us, here are some free mix-and-match printable Christmas dog treat or gift tags and labels. Pawfect for sharing a few Christmas treats with furfriends, packing doggy bags guests, or gifting a little something to the furkids of your holiday host or hostess. See our Christmas dog DIYs for more fun festive ideas. Merry barkmas!
This post amalgamates the Christmas freebies from several old posts together here on the new Dalmatian DIY website. The files were revised and updated to our new freebie format several years ago, with a different design than you may see in some old/outdated pins – hope you like them! The treat recipe that was originally included here has been separated into the dog treat recipe collection. Apologies for any inconvenience while we get reorganised around here.
Free Printable Christmas Dog Treat/Gift Tags and Labels
As with all of our printable freebies, these printables are free for your personal / non-commercial use as a little present from us to you. It’s absolutely not required, but it would be awesome and greatly appreciated if you followed us on social media, if you’re not already following the fun. We welcome social media shares and linking with love, but please link to this post, not the download direct. Thanks!
Note: These freebies have been shared via Dropbox as high resolution jpegs (A4 300ppi). You do not need to have a Dropbox membership/login to access the file. As images files, you can easily resize, crop, and/or print multiples of the items that you want in the program of your preference. Only print what you want to use, and please remember to recycle any extra bits or offcuts.
Bonus: The additional set of Happy Howlidays tags and labels above was created for a follow-on post in response to a reader request. They asked if we would consider sharing some blue Howliday tags for Hanukkah. We created a double set of mix-and-match tags in the classic Christmas red and green you see above as well as a flexible and festive mixture of beautiful blues. You can find those tags and the high resolution download links in our Happy Howliday freebie post.
Creating with Different Colours or for Other Occasions
Not quite your colour or style? Check out our massive collection of coloured paw print tag and label freebies. These text-free mix-and-match labels are shared in a whole rainbow of colours. There is also a plain black option, which is great for printing on a coloured paper, if you prefer.
You can print homemade tags on coloured paper instead of using coloured ink, or create extra special layered tags by gluing printed labels to a coloured or textured backing. Layering is a great way to include materials in your design that are difficult to print, like metallic, glittery, or textured papers. It’s also a nice option for strong patterns that would be distracting on the main body of the tag. Scrapbook papers make great fancy firm backings. Recycled greeting cards work well, too!
