Creating Labels with Different Colours or for Other Occasions

Not quite your colour or style? This is one design of several freebies available here on the blog. If you’re looking for something a little different, you can sniff around in our archives for more fun freebiesĀ or dig through ourĀ pet tags and labels for treat tags and more. Woofs! Feeing creative?Ā You can print homemade tags on coloured paper instead of using coloured ink, or create extra special layered tags by gluing printed labels to a coloured or textured backing. Layering is a great way to include materials in your design that are difficult to print, like metallic, glittery, or textured papers. It’s also a nice option for strong patterns that would be distracting on the main body of the tag. Scrapbook papers make great fancy firm backings. Recycled greeting cards work well, too!
