Oli's 11th Birthday Celebrations

Celebrating the Big 1-1

We celebrated Oli’s birthday yesterday with the full family, as Easter Monday is a statutory holiday here. We usually have a big birthday bash full week of posts, but with Oli’s birthday this year falling between Easter, Earth Day, and ANZAC Day it’s a pretty packed schedule, both on the blog and in real life. Don’t worry, Oli’s barkday pawty was still as special as ever. Even a little more so with every year that passes. He and Humphrey got to have leftover birthday cake with breakfast this morning. Can’t beat that as a pawesome start to a very special birthday day!

Cake, Toys, and Other Doggone Great Birthday Fun

Oli’s birthday cake this year was a layered pumpkin and beef cake with potato frosting. We had a little creative fun with treat dough and some natural colourings and created some marbled rainbow unicorn bone treats, too. As a very special birthday gift, Oli also received a giant homemade stuffed birthday present dog toy. Paws and fangs off, Humphrey! This one’s Oli’s.
