What??? Holidays are over? And it's Monday? Oh poo... Hello again furfriends and hello 2020! We've been quiet the past few weeks enjoying some semi-offline family holiday time. Every day we share together is a gift, and we hope there will be many more days, celebrations, milestones, and memories to come. Here is a little catch up from during our break before we dive into our Valentine's Day posts starting next week.

If you're a regular visitor to our blog and/or social media, you know our dogs are very loved and well-cared for but we can always do better! Since it's 2018, I've broken my reflections down into 18 ways to give your dog a happier and healthier life and I'm sharing some of my own shortcomings, learnings, and resolutions at the end of the post.  Let's invest time and energy to make this and every year that follows a better year for our dogs!

DIY Pet Pillow Boxes + Party Popper "Christmas Crackers"

Dog and cat gift wrapping made from recycled cardboard tubes, wrapped and stamped with WOOF, MEOW, and paw prints

My dogs LOVE tearing into boxes, paper, cardboard rolls... they're avid recyclers, always happy to help break things down for the bin! :)  Today's post shares how to prettify your everyday recyclables into pawesome holiday/party wrapping and pressie packaging for pets (or anyone you please!).  It is shared in collaboration with our partner blog at Creativity Unmasked, where you can discover how the easy homemade custom bone, paw, and word stamps were created with instructions for creating your own. Yay!

Easy DIY Dog Party Cracker

Here is the final share from Humphrey's first birthday! Humphrey enjoys helping with the recycling of all varieties, but he has a particular fondness for toilet paper rolls.  On his birthday, I made two very simple "party cracker" inspired treat tubes (one for each dog - nobody wants a birthday fight!).  These are a fun little novelty to add to a doggy celebration. I may make some for New Year's, too.
